Weddings
your weekend, the whole place
Outdoor ceremony in the meadow, indoor in the barn, or somewhere between. Hog roast or stone-baked pizzas. Bell tents in the meadow for the wedding party so the day stretches past midnight and into breakfast.
A hidden treasure in the heart of Suffolk
Wood-fired pizzas. Hog roast under canvas. Fires that go past midnight. Bell tents in the meadow and a barn that holds the dancing — for weddings, corporate retreats, proms, team building days, birthdays, mini festivals and celebrations.
Owned and lived in by the same family for over four decades — and a working cattle farm long before that.
The house and the big barn date back to the late 1700s and early 1800s. Look closely at the brickwork or up at the old beams and you’ll find the initials and dates of those who came before, etched in by hand. When the family first bought the place, they lived in caravans on site while it was made liveable. The original hand-pump that once served the house is still here, still in its spot.
The acres are looked after, not manicured. The hedgerows are left wild on purpose, and the wild meadow is home to roe and muntjac deer, foxes, badgers and barn owls — usually heard before they’re seen.
Although the house and barns aren’t formally listed, the big barn is recognised as being of heritage interest. The Grade I listed church of Creeting St Peter is a short walk away, due north past the meadow. The whole site runs on solar with mains as backup.
And now
Two centuries on, a new chapter — approved by Suffolk Registrars as a licensed venue for civil ceremonies, indoors or out.
A rustic outdoor venue tucked into acres of Suffolk countryside — built for the moments that matter, run by people who care that they go right.
Flint Hall is a working countryside venue, not a polished wedding factory. There’s a barn that takes a DJ at full tilt and an open-fronted Ranch where the bar lives. There’s a wood-fired pizza oven we’ve never lent to anyone, a meadow that holds the ceremony, and a fire pit that holds the conversation long after dinner’s gone.
For weddings, corporate retreats, proms, team building days, birthdays, mini festivals and celebrations, we offer the whole place — barn, ranch, meadow, padel court, accommodation field — with on-site catering, canvas in the meadow, and the kind of low-key hospitality that makes a long day feel short.
Pick the one that fits. We’ll tailor everything else.

teams, away from the office
A day or several. Wi-Fi when you need it, a fire pit when you don’t. Wood-fired catering for the team lunch. Stays for the multi-day version. Padel court, paddock and acres for the breakout sessions that don’t feel like sessions.
Plan your retreat →the venue cleans up well
The barn takes a DJ, lights, dance-floor and three hundred Year 11s without breaking a sweat. Food they’ll actually eat (pizzas, BBQ). Photo backdrops for days. A car park your parents can find.
Plan your prom →acres, 1 fire pit
Padel court, open paddocks, accommodation field, the whole site. Bring your own activity provider or let us point you at one. Pizza ovens are warmer than icebreakers. Day or overnight; small teams or large.
Plan your day →an excuse to gather, well used
Big-number birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, family weekends, garden festivals with a few stages and a hundred friends. Bring the bunting; we’ll bring the fires, the canvas and the wood-fired food. As loud or as soft as you like, until late.

Whole-site exclusivity. Nobody else booked, nobody else around. The acres are yours for as long as you’ve booked them.
From the first cup of coffee at sunrise to the last person sat by the fire at midnight — this is your patch of Suffolk for the duration.
The four things people remember.
Stone-baked pizzas, hog roast, BBQ feasts — cooked on site, eaten where you’re standing.
Beers, wines, spirits, cocktails. Open from arrival to last orders. Bring your crowd, we’ll pour for them.
Bell tents pitched between the trees — beds for the people who love you most.
The barn handles a DJ at full tilt. Acoustic on the porch is fine too. Everything until late.
A snug tiny house and canvas in the meadow — for the people who love you most. Plus space for tents and campervans on the accommodation field.
Where the wedding party gets ready. Where the management retreat sleeps. The most photographed corner on site.
The classic canvas. Place them in the field for proximity to the barn, or back near the trees for privacy. Comes with bedding, towels, toiletries.
Real moments from real events — weddings, birthdays, corporate days, charity afternoons.
Send us the rough shape of what you have in mind. We’ll come back inside 48 hours with availability, the right package and an honest answer on whether we’re the right fit. No hard sell.
